Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been elected
as the new Chair of the South-West Governors` Forum. This decision was made
following a meeting of the South-West governors, succeeding the late Governor
Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, who previously held the position.

As Chair, Governor Sanwo-Olu will lead the forum in

Ondo, Ekiti, and Osun States. The forum is known for its collaborative efforts
to tackle common challenges such as security, economic integration, and
infrastructural development.
