Rangers International FC have clinched their first Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title in eight years under the guidance of head coach Fidelis Ilechukwu. This victory marks the club`s eighth NPFL title, reinforcing their status as one of Nigeria`s premier football teams.

The decisive match saw Rangers defeat Bendel Insurance 2-0 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, with goals from Kenechukwu Agu and Chidiebere Nwobodo. Their closest competitors, Remo Stars, and Enyimba, both lost their respective matches, securing Ranger`s top position with an unassailable lead going into the final game of the season.​
